- Despite ranking at #3, "Fix You" has actually accumulated more points than "Figure 8". It ranks lower on this chart because it began its chart run two weeks from the end of last year.
- "Can't Hold Us (feat. Ray Dalton)", "Fix You", "Figure 8", "Diamonds (Shahaf Moran Remix)" have all be certified 2x platinum
- "La La" by Mia Martina is the highest ranking song to NOT reach the top 3 (#11). The next highest is "Pour It Up" by Rihanna (peaked at #5; 18th place).
- "Applause" has nabbed 697 points so far through 14 weeks. The most a song can earn in 14 weeks is 701. The song has spent a record high 11 weeks at #1.
- Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have racked 3629 points across 5 songs (average of 725 points each). Three of those 5 songs have passed that number, while "White Walls (feat. Schoolboy Q and Hollis)" briefly charted and brought the average down heavily. Still, they are effectively the biggest new group of the year with 3 top 10 finishers as of now (though "Same Love (feat. Mary Lambert)" is in jeopardy of closing within the top 10).
- Avril Lavigne's "Rock N Roll" (#16) didn't reach #1 like its predecessor ("Here's to Never Growing Up"; #7) but reached the runner up slot 5 times (a new record) and will likely go platinum (1000+ points) by the end of the year. That would beat "Here's to Never Growing Up", which stopped with 976 points to hold the record for "Closest to Platinum Certification". The previous record was held by P!nk's "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" which wound up at #1 for a single week last year and finished its 2012-2013 run with 972 points in the bag.
- Over 180 songs have charted.
- "Come & Get It" by Selena Gomez and "High School (feat. Lil Wayne)" by Nicki Minaj tie for "Smallest Amount of Points Collected". They each scooped 1 point and spent a single week at #50 before dropping off the list. "Whistle" by Flo Rida rounded out last year's bracket with this record (1 week at #40), but when I adopted a new method it technically scored 11 points instead of 1 (the change came with the addition of positions 41-50).
- It is worth noting that "Roar" is #41.
