Macklemore's "Can't Hold Us (feat. Ray Dalton)" holds at #1 to occupy the top slot for a second consecutive week. Macklemore's previous hit "Thrift Shop (feat. Wanz)" ruled for 4 weeks. Before reaching the top position, the song set the record for "Most Weeks at #2", advancing over "Sweet Nothing (feat. Florence Welch)" by Calvin Harris, which spent 8 consecutive weeks stalled in the runner-up position.
Katy Tiz rises 4-2 with newest single "Red Cup". It experienced considerable airplay increases in the week and is edging back at "Stars", which started lower than it, but has had slightly better positioning overall.
Emmelie De Forest slides 2-3 with "Only Teardrops", after two weeks atop the tally. It is just the fourth Eurovision entry to crack the list, and is the second to hit #1 on the tally. Last year's winner (Loreen's "Euphoria") debuted at #1, and became the #15 song of 2012, and the #7 of 2012-2013 (so far).
Robin Thicke continues his fascinating rise, advancing 6-4 with worldwide smash hit "Blurred Lines (feat. T.I. and Pharrell Williams)". This song spent four days as our #3 single this week, but still only racked enough points to reach #4 this week.
Avril Lavigne's "Here's To Never Growing Up" holds at #5, after dipping 3-5 last week. 9 weeks ago, the single became the 6th #1 debut in our chart's history. To date it has spent 10 weeks in the top 5.
Kat DeLuna tumbles 3-6 with "Stars". It falls due to the rise of Robin Thicke and Katy Tiz, and the fact that it has not yet been released to iTunes or amazon.com
Kelly Clarkson's third nonconsecutive top 10 single, "People Like Us" moves 8-7 in its 19th week on the chart. Clarkson previously landed at #1 for a single week with "What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)", and #8 with follow up single "Dark Side".
Sharon Doorson nudges 9-8, after arriving at a career best #9 with her new single "Killer" last week. It had a monster second week, and was additionally fueled by the release of Doorson's debut album also titled "Killer".
Ellie Goulding dips 7-9 with third top 5 hit "Figure 8", after a two week stay at #1. Five weeks ago it took the record for "Longest Climb to #1 Ever", topping in its 20th week. Her other two top 5 singles both stopped at #4.
Loreen jumps 16-10 with her latest worldwide hit "We Got the Power". It becomes her fourth non-consecutive top 10 single after "Euphoria" peaked at #1(x3), "My Heart Is Refusing Me" peaked at #1, and "Crying Out Your Name" stopped at #3.
Lower on the chart, last week's debuts fizz, and several more songs debut.
