After weeks of going back and forth on whether or not Fall Out Boy's "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em' Up)" should chart, I finally decided it wouldn't a few days ago. Yesterday I changed my mind. The official remix of the song featuring Nikki Williams was a better fit on my chart, because it had a faster tempo, and wasn't just a "remix" that only featured a small verse from an artist with no other changes.
Normally a song with only three complete days of airplay going towards its total, would debut right on the edge of the top 40, but this particular song could have a monster top 20 debut based on the complete Wednesday airplay tally and the early morning Thursday tally. A good debut range would be between 15-25. With that said, the forecast could be dramatically altered tonight when Thursday's final tallies come through.
