Report: Avril Lavigne WILL Dent Top 5 With New Single; Maybe Even #1

Avril Lavigne's newest release "Here's To Never Growing Up" is heating up to our airplay list at a faster pace than expected. In just two and a half days of airplay (Tuesday-Wednesday and part of Thursday), Avril's single has racked up an amazing 63 plays. This is up 11% from the total plays that yesterday's airplay leader "Can't Hold Us (feat. Ray Dalton)" by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis has racked, and up 26% from the total plays that last week's top airplay title "I Love It (feat. Charli XCX)" by Icona Pop has racked. Avril's next biggest competitor (and last week's "Hot Shot Debut") "Fail In Love" by Sharon Doorson is hovering at position 5 and is has racked 48% less plays.

If Avril ranks #1 for Thursday (and maintains her pace on Friday), "Here's To Never Growing Up" could become just the 6th single to debut at #1 on the official chart. Please note this is not reflective of the final tally, and all titles could shift by tomorrow night.

As always, come back tomorrow (Friday) for the official Chart Highlights!
