Chart Highlights: Avril Lavigne Debuts Atop Tally; Sharoon Doorson Scoops Up a Hit

After a grueling week, Avril Lavigne's "Here's To Never Growing Up" debuts at #1 off a stellar 73 play start. The single claims the biggest debut since Maroon 5 launched into #1 with 82 plays on the April 19th, 2012 chart, exactly one year ago. Additionally, it is just the 6th song to debut at #1 in our history.

Holding at #2 is Macklemore's "Can't Hold Us (feat. Ray Dalton)". The song claims the "Airplay Gainer" tag for a fourth week. It is a possible contender for #1 in a few weeks, but could be denied a penthouse position if Avril holds on to the momentum.

Icona Pop's "I Love It (feat. Charli XCX)" is up 15%, but Avril and Macklemore still manage to top it, denying the song a second week atop the tally. The single descends 1-3.

Sharon Doorson flies 10-4 with debut single "Fail In Love".

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis also claim the #5 position with four week #1 runner "Thrift Shop (feat. Wanz)". The single descends 3-5.

Cascada continues rising with Eurovision entry, and 2nd consecutive top 10 single "Glorious". The single advances 7-6, fueled by airplay gains.

Vita Chambers dips 6-7 with debut hit "Fix You". As of this week, the single has spent 18 consecutive weeks in the chart's top 10. This is just 4 weeks from tying the current record set by Rihanna's "Diamonds (Shahaf Moran Remix)", and 5 from breaking it.

Taylor Swift plunges 4-8 with "I Knew You Were Trouble" during the song's 21st week on the chart.

After netting the group its 7th consecutive top 5 hit, Maroon 5's "Daylight" drops 5-9. It followed the group's "Moves Like Jagger (feat. Christina Aguilera)" which peaked at #5, "Payphone (feat. Wiz Khalifa)" which peaked at #1(x4), "One More Night"which  peaked at #1, "Love Somebody" which peaked at #1, "Lucky Strike" which peaked at #3, and "Doin' Dirt"which peaked at #5.

Rounding out the top 10 is Rihanna's 9th top 10 hit "Pour It Up". After 3 months of climbing, the single finally made the upper tier. This is Rihanna's slowest reach to the top 10, as most of her songs debut around or inside the top 10 to begin with.

Come back tomorrow (Saturday) for the full chart (with surprises)!
