Earlier this morning, will.i.am dropped his Miley
Cyrus assisted new single called "Fall Down". Although it is somewhat
of a creepy and ridiculous song, it is actually a step up from previous works
like "#ThatPower" (honestly a hashtag?) and "Scream and
Shout". What we mean by creepy is the lyrics in the first verse. will.i.am
tries to rap: "You can be my lollipop, lemme, lemme lick you up/On the
bottom, on the top, baby, lemme flip you up/You can be my soda pop, Coca Cola
sip it up/Whip cream, whip it up, strip on, zip it up/I could be your chip, you
can be my dip, lemme dip it up". In our opinion, that there is just a
disgusting mess and he only gets brownie points for promoting Coca Cola (and
not Pepsi). Although the whole song is pretty much garbage, it is much better
than his other failed collaborations.
Rating: 4.5/10 ("#ThatPower" would
have received 1, and "Scream and Shout" would have received
a 3)
Bottom Line: Better Than Old will.i.am; Still not
so good
