Katy Tiz holds at #1 with newest single "Red Cup". In an extremely competitive week, the single claims the penthouse position, again edging out both Robin Thicke and Kelly Clarkson. It became the singer's first ever #1 after the release of two other singles, "Famous" and "Heart". Total airplay was up over 15% this week.
Robin Thicke holds at #2 with worldwide smash hit "Blurred Lines (feat. T.I. and Pharrell Williams)". It was again edged out of the top position by Katy Tiz. Although gaining a hefty amount in airplay, it was still not able to crown the list.
Emmelie De Forest rebounds 4-3 with "Only Teardrops", after two weeks atop the tally. It is just the fourth Eurovision entry to crack the list, and is the second to hit #1 on the tally. Last year's winner (Loreen's "Euphoria") debuted at #1, and became the #15 song of 2012, and the #7 of 2012-2013 (so far). To date it has spent at least 1 week at every position in the top 5.
Kelly Clarkson's second non-consecutive top 5 single, "People Like Us" flies 6-4 in its 22nd week on the chart. Clarkson previously landed at #1 for a single week with "What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)", and #8 with follow up single "Dark Side". It set the record for "Longest Rise to the Top 5" reaching the landmark in 22 weeks. This record was previously held by "How to Be a Heartbreaker", which ultimately stopped at #5 during it's 21st week on the chart.
Macklemore's "Can't Hold Us (feat. Ray Dalton)" slides 3-5 after occupying the top slot for a three consecutive weeks. Macklemore's previous hit "Thrift Shop (feat. Wanz)" ruled for 4 weeks. Before reaching the top position, the song set the record for "Most Weeks at #2", advancing over "Sweet Nothing (feat. Florence Welch)" by Calvin Harris, which spent 8 consecutive weeks stalled in the runner-up position.
Avril Lavigne's "Here's To Never Growing Up" dips 5-6 after spending 4 weeks at #5, and 4 weeks at #1. 12 weeks ago, the single became the 6th #1 debut in our chart's history. To date it has spent 12 weeks in the top 5, and a total of 13 in the top 10.
Loreen bullets 8-7 with her latest worldwide hit "We Got the Power". It became her fourth non-consecutive top 10 single after "Euphoria" peaked at #1(x3), "My Heart Is Refusing Me" peaked at #1, and "Crying Out Your Name" stopped at #3.
Mia Martina moves 10-8 with "La La..." after being stuck in the #11 position for four consecutive weeks. The song was able to crack the top 10 due to its official release on iTunes and other digital media sites.
Kat DeLuna plunges 7-9 with "Stars" due to another sharp decline in airplay. Despite its continued descend, it manages to stay in the top 10 for an ninth consecutive week. It had a decent run (despite no official release), ultimately peaking at #3.
Rounding out the top 10, Sharon Doorson dips 9-10 with her new single "Killer". It had a monster first week, and was additionally fueled by the release of Doorson's debut album also titled "Killer". Despite its large launch, and continued success throughout its second week, the song has taken a major slash in airplay (yet again).
Ellie Goulding claims the two of only three new debuts, landing at #27 with "Burn", and #32 with "You, My Everything".
