After a very close race this week, Vita Chambers still lands on top of the list with "Fix You". In its 3rd consecutive frame at #1 it becomes the second longest running #1 of 2013.
Holding steady at #2 is "Thrift Shop (feat. Wanz)" by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. It spends a 5th consecutive week in the runner-up slot.
Holding steady at #2 is "Thrift Shop (feat. Wanz)" by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. It spends a 5th consecutive week in the runner-up slot.
Moving 4-3 is "Troublemaker (feat. Flo Rida)" by Olly Murs. It is likely that the single will peak at #3 due to heavy competitors including the songs mentioned above.
After collecting two back to back #1 singles last year with "Euphoria" and "My Heart Is Refusing Me", Loreen is back to dominating the top 5. She rises 5-4 with "Crying Out Your Name". If the single can nab #1, Loreen would become just the 4th artist/group to collect at least three #1's after Maroon 5 (3 consecutive), Rihanna (4 non-consecutive), and Nicki Minaj (4 non-consecutive).
After holding at #1 for 8 weeks, "Don't You Worry Child (Radio Edit) [feat. John Martin]" by Swedish House Mafia dips 3-5 in a major decline week. To date this is the song's second slowest week after its opening week.
Rihanna moves 10-6 with "Stay (Shahaf Moran Remix)". The single could mark a historic point in her chart history if it reaches #1. If it does, Rihanna would become the first artist to post 5 different #1's after "We Found Love (feat. Calvin Harris)", "Take Care (feat. Rihanna)", "Where Have You Been", and "Diamonds (Shahaf Moran Remix)". It would also give remixer Shahaf Moran his second #1 single.
In its 20th week on the chart "How to Be a Heartbreaker" by Marina and the Diamonds moves 8-7. Marina also debuts lower on the chart with Valentine's Day track "E.V.O.L".
After moving 7-9 last week, Maroon 5's "Doin' Dirt" ascends 9-8. Although it became their first single to miss the top 5 in their entire chart history, it still has a chance at making it. "Moves Like Jagger (feat. Christina Aguilera)" peaked at #5, "Payphone (feat. Wiz Khalifa)" peaked at #1(x4), "One More Night" peaked at #1, "Love Somebody" peaked at #1, and "Lucky Strike" peaked at #3.
"Sweet Nothing (feat. Florence Welch)" by Calvin Harris slides 6-10 after commanding the list for 2 consecutive weeks in January and February.
Rounding out this week is Rihanna's 7 week leader "Diamonds (Shahaf Moran Remix Radio)". As it spends a 22nd consecutive week in the top 10, it ties the record for "Most Weeks in the Top 10" and sets the record for "Most Consecutive Weeks in the Top 10" with 22.
Come back later this week for the complete chart!
