After spending eight week in the top 10, Vita Chambers ascends from #3 to the top slot with her massive wide release debut single "Fix You". The single gains in overall airplay by a considerable amount and becomes the first song in history to chart at #1 on Valentine's Day!
Holding at #2 we have Macklemore & Ryan Lewis with their Wanz assisted "Thrift Shop". The single is down less than 1% but was edged out by Vita Chambers by a large amount.
Swedish House Mafia rebounds 4-3 with "Don't You Worry Child (feat. John Martin) [Radio Edit]". The song originally spent 8 consecutive frames in the penthouse across December 2012 and January 2013 before being taken over by Calvin Harris.
Calvin Harris dips 4-1 with "Sweet Nothing (feat. Florence Welch)" after spending 8 consecutive weeks at #2, and 2 consecutive weeks at #1. At this point the single is barely edging out SHM for the Top Song of 2013 (So Far...) title.
In its 20th frame on the chart, Rihanna's "Diamonds (Shahaf Moran Remix)" holds at #5 (during 20th week in the top 5) to tie the "Most Weeks in the Top 5" record also set by Rihanna ("Where Have You Been"). Despite not breaking the record, it sets a new record for "Most Consecutive Weeks in the Top 5" with 20 weeks, as "Where Have You Been" spent 20 weeks in the top 50 during different chart runs.
Holding at #6 for a third week is "Troublemaker (feat. Flo Rida)" by Olly Murs. The single gains by 5% while Rihanna slides by 3%. If the single can tally just a little more airplay next week, it should be able to reach the top 5 and knock Rihanna's massive hit out.
At #7 we find Maroon 5 with their upcoming smash "Doin' Dirt". The track inches 8-7 in its 13th week and if it reaches the top 5, it could break the record for "Longest Climb to the Top 5".
Rita Ora bounds 10-8 with fourth official single "Radioactive" during the song's 13th week. After tying the "Longest Climb to the Top 10" record set by Katy Perry's "Wide Awake" last week, both artists lose the title this week.
In the single's 18th chart week, "How to Be A Heartbreaker" manages to climb 11-9 and take the "Longest Climb to the Top 10". The song becomes the second consecutive single released by Marina and the Diamonds to reach the upper tier after "Primadonna" peaked at #5 last year.
Loreen debuts at #10 with her third consecutive top 10 single "Crying Out Your Name". Another track from her debut album debuts at #22.
