Which Song Is Better?: "Problem" or "Break Free" (Poll)

It's the question that has everyone chatting: which Ariana Grande track is truly better? While "Break Free (feat. Zedd)" feels more accessible and definitely more danceable than "Problem (feat. Iggy Azalea)" (which feels more rhythmic and pop infused), but it left some listeners feeling a little underwhelmed. Now it's time to finally settle the debate. Which track from Ariana Grande's upcoming My Everything album is actually better? Cast your vote below or remain indecisive by picking "both bad" or "both good".

"Problem" has peaked at #9 on the CDS Music Chart Hot 50 thus far (slipping 9-10 this week), while the recently released "Break Free" has yet to chart. You can also vote for one of these tracks as your favorite song of the week here.

Note: You may need to wait a while for the poll to load.

My personal choice: I would pick "Problem" as the better one, but they are both great releases.

Which Song Is Better?: Nicole or Cheryl (Poll)

I recently published a full length article all about the new offerings from Nicole Scherzinger and Cheryl Cole, but I didn't add a poll, so here it is. Take a look at my previous article with all the weighed facts and tell me which song -- "Your Love" or "Crazy Stupid Love" -- is better. I've included my review of the tracks on this page. Read my article above for a more in depth look at the tracks. Then tell me which is better, and which one will sell better in the UK.

"Your Love" by Nicole Scherzinger
Review: While it's more radio friendly than most of her recent endeavors ("Try With Me", "Wet", "Boomerang"), "Your Love" definitely joins the ranks of Nicole Scherzinger's complete busts mainly because it feels dull, cheap and a wasted attempt at trying to achieve chart success. The 4 minute long track drudges on with its extremely repetitive and overly simplified hook ("du-du-du-du, du-du-du-du"), its noisy, overtly populated chorus, and worst of all: its hook sounds like it was written by a 5 year old child: "I need you in the daytime, especially in the night time...". Additionally, the album version has an unneeded 20-30 second outro that just makes the whole experience even more unflattering. Thankfully, the video (while being somewhat generic) was nicely executed and somewhat entertaining. It's a major disappointment in my mind.

"Crazy Stupid Love (feat. Tinie Tempah)" by Cheryl Cole"
Review: Jumping onto the trumpet backed bandwagon, Cheryl Cole's "Crazy Stupid Love (feat. Tinie Tempah)" sounds like a mixture of Jason Derülo's "Talk Dirty", Ariana Grande's "Problem" and some random pop song that nobody can figure out the name of. In simpler terms: its a huge waste of time. It has no proper chorus, it lacks originality, and it feels like an unnecessary inclusion in the fairly solid discographies of both Cheryl Cole and Tinie Tempah. I will give it credit for two things (but two things only): first off, the combination of Cheryl Cole and Tinie Tempah in one song will likely blow the socks off of the UK as a whole, as both artists are known as prolific acts that have strung together loads of successful singles. Second, Cheryl Cole sure does know how to captivate audiences. Need proof? Just look at the track's single cover.
