Chart Highlights: Macklemore Up, Icona Pop Posts Large Increase

After an even tighter race this week, than the last, Vita Chambers still lands on top of the list with "Fix You". In its 4th consecutive frame at #1 it ties "Don't You Worry Child (feat. John Martin)" by Swedish House Mafia as the longest running #1 of 2013. The single declines by about 10%, while the runner up song gains by 5%.

Holding steady at #2 is "Thrift Shop (feat. Wanz)" by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. It spends a 6th consecutive week in the runner-up slot.

After collecting two back to back #1 singles last year with "Euphoria" and "My Heart Is Refusing Me", Loreen is back to dominating the top 5. She rises 4-3 with "Crying Out Your Name". If the single can nab #1, Loreen would become just the 4th artist/group to collect at least three #1's after Maroon 5 (3 consecutive), Rihanna (4 non-consecutive), and Nicki Minaj (4 non-consecutive).

Rihanna moves 6-4 with "Stay (Shahaf Moran Remix)" to reach the top 5. The single could mark a historic point in her chart history if it reaches #1. If it does, Rihanna would become the first artist to post 5 different #1's after "We Found Love (feat. Calvin Harris)", "Take Care (feat. Rihanna)", "Where Have You Been", and "Diamonds (Shahaf Moran Remix)".

In its 21st week on the chart "How to Be a Heartbreaker" by Marina and the Diamonds moves 7-5 to reach the top 5. Marina takes the record for the "Longest Climb to the Top 5" stealing the crown from Katy Perry's "Wide Awake".

Moving down 3-6 is "Troublemaker (feat. Flo Rida)" by Olly Murs.

Maroon 5's "Doin' Dirt" ascends 8-7. Although it became their first single to miss the top 5 in their entire chart history, it still has a chance at making it with its current patterns. "Moves Like Jagger (feat. Christina Aguilera)" peaked at #5, "Payphone (feat. Wiz Khalifa)" peaked at #1(x4), "One More Night" peaked at #1, "Love Somebody" peaked at #1, and "Lucky Strike" peaked at #3.

Swedish House Mafia moves down 5-8 with "Don't You Worry Child (Radio Edit) [feat. John Martin]". The song spent an record-tying eight weeks at #1 from December 2012-January 2013.

Taylor Swift rises 12-9 with "I Knew You Were Trouble" during the song's 15th week. After four albums, and 24 single releases she nets her first top 10 hit on her 25th try.

Rounding out the top 10 is Nicole Scherzinger with "Boomerang". It becomes her 3rd single to reach the upper tier after "Don't Hold Your Breath" peaked at #1, and "Wet" peaked at #5.

Below the top 10 comes "I Love It (feat. Charlie XCX)" by Icona Pop moving 20-15.
