Yeezus: Is Kanye West Changing the Game?

Kanye West's forthcoming album Yeezus  is sent to drop next tuesday. Although that is exciting for many, West has kept almost everything related to Yeezus under lock and key, including a new single. In fact it wasn't until last night, that the track list was revealed. Also details on the album cover have sparse. Despite little promotion, many experts are forecasting that the album will sell upward of 500,000 units in week 1 - the second highest debut of the year.

Why is Kanye being so secretive?

Is he trying to prove that people will buy whatever he puts out? Is he just experimenting on every level? Is he trying to build a hype because the release style is so different?

Anyone could try to sit down and figure it out, but my guess is that Kanye West is the only one who  will ever know. We will just have to wait and see. Below is the leaked track-list of Yeezus.

  • “On Sight”
  • “Black Skinhead”
